Neuron started out in 2000 spearheaded by a strong multi-national management team with extensive international experience in the sector. With offices in Dubai, the team rapidly sought out service providers and by 2001, Hilton International Hotel had appointed us to handle their medical scheme.

In 2001 Neuron’s first insurer was Qatar Insurance Company and our scope rapidly expanded to Extended Warranty business as well as handling life insurance applications for Amlak Finance.

Rapid growth occurred between 2004 and 2007 firmly anchoring Neuron as a strong solution provider. Partnerships were forged with Arab Orient, Allianz Worldwide Care, New India, and Dubai Islamic Insurance (Aman) as well as the existing accounts of QIC and Hilton. In 2006 Neuron was appointed to handle Dubai World on a self-insured basis and this was rapidly followed by Dubai Islamic Bank.

Having established itself, Neuron was partly acquired in 2009 by Dubai Wing, a privately held investment company. This strategic partnership strengthened the company and pushed it to the forefront as a regional leader and later that year we were significantly awarded the Enaya account for employees of the Government of Dubai.
